Explore the river walk, hike at the nearby wetlands, or the numerous downtown museums and restaurants.Families benefit from strong public schools and nearby universities, including Augusta University—home to Georgia’s only dental school and a nationally recognized medical college—plus technical colleges offering career-focused programs.What You Will DoThe Administrative Assistant for the Finished Goods department will be responsible for:Managing the work schedules for the Finished Products Areas including PS&D, C&A, PM1, and PM3. Ensure scheduling information is accurately entered into the payroll management system and work with area managers to resolve any exception for payroll reportingManage vacation scheduling for all hourly employeesReview and track attendance issues and coordinate with Human Resources when discipline is appropriateProvide administrative support to the Finished Products Manager, including scheduling, record keeping, critical staff communicationsEnsure critical administrative and office supplies are maintained for the Finished Products departmentAdministrative SupportFacilitates business communications between managers, staff, and outside business contacts by coordinating meetings, including preparing presentations, coordinating caterings and equipmentRoutes incoming mail as appropriate; prepare outgoing mail and correspondence, including email, faxes, and UPS shipmentsPrepares confidential correspondence for manager(s) and his/her direct reportsOrganizes and maintains effective filing system and recordsProcesses and reviews expense reports when necessaryManagement SupportGenerates performance reports for managers, including scorecards, inventory reports, shipment analyses, and multiple variance analysesWorks cooperatively with the various team(s) in efforts to better focus strategies for improvementParticipates in employee involvement teamsWorks with teams in creating high level presentationsAssist managers within the department in Crew level communications Special ProjectsParticipates in special projects as assignedSupports engagement activities within the department and key milestone achievement recognitionKey Competencies & AttributesExcellent listener who can work through conflict.
