Production Mechanic

SUMMARY
Position will perform regular preventative and minor maintenance of production equipment and facilities.
Shifts:
Monday - Friday 12am-8am (Overnights)
Monday - Friday 4pm-12am (Evenings)
Preferred Skills:
Be able to trouble shoot ground faults and electrical issues within equipment
Electrical knowledge of Thermocouples, Heaters, Motors, contactors
Understand directions for assembly, disassembly of mechanical equipment (Read Manuals)
Pneumatic components trouble shooting
Mechanical toggle components
PET thermoforming processes (TSL – experience and fine tuning knowledge a +)
Knowledge of conveying systems – belt, fan, displacement, vacuum
Ability to use adhesive application systems
Troubleshoot PLC, Servo and Drive components
Vision System knowledge and how to program and adjust to given conditions
Automation equipment in general for conveying and packaging
Understand use of Asset Essentials maintenance software or comparable
Osha 10 safety course taken
Train the trainer verified for specific OSHA programs a plus
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Ability to read electrical schematics proficiently
Schooling or Work experience (2+ years)
Understand programing and positioning of various sensors
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Base Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
