In this role, you will help build and sustain secure, scalable, and highly automated cloud and DevSecOps environments that power next-generation defense and digital engineering systems. Your contributions will directly strengthen U.S. national security—while giving you the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies, automation frameworks, and mission-essential platforms.\nYou will join a high-performing team where your expertise in automation, scripting, AWS, Kubernetes, and secure pipeline engineering will shape resilient solutions used by warfighters, analysts, and decision-makers across the DoD.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop robust automation and CI/CD pipelines using Python, Bash, Jenkins, and related tooling.\nDesign, deploy, and maintain secure AWS and hybrid cloud environments supporting mission-critical systems.\nManage and optimize containerized applications; deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters.\nImplement certificate management, vulnerability remediation, and security best practices across the SDLC.\nAdminister Linux systems to ensure high performance, reliability, and operational excellence.\nTroubleshoot complex issues across cloud, infrastructure, and legacy environments.\nProduce clear and comprehensive documentation, including technical diagrams and runbooks.\nCollaborate closely with engineers, leadership, and customer stakeholders; mentor junior staff as needed.\nRequirements:\nU.S. Citizenship (required)\nActive Top-Secret Clearance or higher\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or equivalent experience\n2+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or cloud engineering\nProficiency with Python, Bash, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins or similar)\nStrong Linux administration experience and solid networking fundamentals\nExperience with AWS services and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)\nStrong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills\nEffective communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders\nIAT Level II certification or willingness to obtain within one year\nPreferred Skills & Experience\nHands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration platforms\nExperience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)\nFamiliarity with certificate management, patching, and vulnerability remediation\nExperience working in hybrid cloud/on-premise architectures\nBackground supporting automated testing, TDD, and code-review processes\nAbility to document design decisions, runbooks, and operational workflows\nExperience mentoring junior engineers or collaborating across cross-functional teams\nWhy This Role Matters\nIn this role, you’ll collaborate side-by-side with top engineers while serving as our technical force on a major customer program.
