Nextek creates software applications and solutions to serve the needs of Financial Services Professionals.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nBuild and improve modern web applications across the front end and back end\nTake ownership of projects from idea through deployment\nLearn the business behind the product so you understand what you are actually trying to solve\nWork directly with clients and stakeholders to turn ideas into strong technical solutions\nDig into existing codebases and quickly understand how they work\nIdentify opportunities to improve usability, performance, security, and architecture\nResearch competitors, tools, APIs, and new technologies to find better ways to build\nDevelop integrations, automations, and new product functionality\nMove quickly, communicate clearly, and keep projects progressing\nUse AI and modern development tools to increase speed and output of the code you ship\n\nWho We’re Looking For\nHas a track record of building and shipping things\nTakes initiative without needing to be managed closely\nGets uncomfortable when something is moving too slowly\nNaturally looks for better ways to do things\nWants responsibility and is excited by difficult problems\nHighly competitive and consistently holds themselves to a high standard of performance and excellence.\n\nTechnical Experience\nWe’re looking for someone with strong software development fundamentals and experience building real products.\n\nRequired:\n4+ years of professional software development experience, with demonstrated production experience in both .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core) and PHP/Laravel\nFrontend development experience with Vue.js and Tailwind CSS\nExperience deploying, managing, or maintaining applications on Microsoft Azure\nStrong working knowledge of relational databases, including SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL\nPractical experience using AI tools to assist in day-to-day development, code review, or debugging\n\nPreferred:\nExperience designing or integrating with third-party APIs and services\nComfortable working in collaborative development workflows, using Git and issue tracking tools such as Jira\nFamiliarity with authentication, security best practices, and production reliability considerations\nExposure to cloud infrastructure and deployment processes\n\nNice to have:\nExperience with Next.js\n\nExperience with SaaS products, CRM integrations, workflow automation, AI-enabled products, or complex client-facing applications is a strong plus. We care less about whether you check every technical box and more about whether you have proven you can learn quickly, work through unfamiliar systems, and build high-quality software.\n\nWhat We Value\n\nWe care about your ability to build, learn, and execute.
