Account Manager (sales)
Summary: Sales Consultant liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs. Manage and develop client accounts to initiate and maintain favorable relationship with clients.Education: Associates Degree related to sales, business or related field, OR equivalent experience of 5+ years of continuous employment at Banker Wire. Work Environment: General office work environment Compensation: Split between base salary and commission. Base salary is paid weekly. Commission is calculated based on total revenue and is paid monthly. Commission will not be paid during any extended period of leave.Skills and Qualifications: Proven sales experience, preferred but not requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsResult orientedCustomer focusedDetail oriented and organizedMust have basic computer skills (JobBOSS/WireRAAD experience preferred, but not required)Positive attitude and customer relation skills are essentialMust be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and under pressure and react to situations quicklyMust be flexible regarding work hoursBasic understanding of math and geometryMust be willing to travel occasionally to visit customers and/or attend trade shows or conferencesDuties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assignedResponsible for all requests of quotes (RFQ) and questions about Banker Wire products via telephone, fax, and e-mail, along with quotes Sales Consultant must enter orders as efficiently and professionally as possibleMaintain assigned product lines/customers and report on them accordingly, update the Sales Manager on any issues with accounts immediatelyRegularly check with existing customers and industries for satisfaction and growth opportunitiesResearch new markets or industries for growth opportunitiesCheck the daily production schedule and keep informed as to lead timesCommunicate/coordinate with the Sales Manager regarding quotes/customers that require additional attention, sales goals, and quoting procedures that require adjusting due to current market conditionsAttend weekly Sales Meeting to discuss issues and questions. Sale Consultants are expected to provide information on assigned product lines/customers, or any market indelReview finished jobs daily to determine profitabilityMaintain positive communications between our distributors and Banker WireAssist in training new employees
