This is a high-impact backfill role, ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced operating room environment and is committed to excellence in patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain sterile surgical environmentsAssist surgeons during procedures with precision and efficiencyHandle, label, and transport specimens to the laboratory per protocolMaintain inventory of sterile supplies and surgical instrumentsPrepare patients for surgery (washing, shaving, disinfecting incision sites)Support patient transport as neededStay current with surgical trends, tools, and best practices through ongoing educationAssist in clinic settings, including:Rooming patientsTaking vital signsManaging orders and routing callsRequirementsRequirementsCertified Surgical Technologist (CST) – RequiredBLS Certification – RequiredStrong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical proceduresAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamExcellent attention to detail and communication skills
