This individual will succeed by working with the Assistant Director in recruiting for the best talent, perpetuating superior training/retraining and ensuring standards are consistently upheld. We are looking for someone with a passion for people and a relentless commitment to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction for both our guests and colleagues.\nWhat you will be doing: Upholding brand (LQA) standards of the department.\nReview LQA audits to identify areas of improvement and implement initiatives to improve service.\nManage all housekeeping colleagues to include interviewing, retention, training, coaching and discipline.\nMaintain colleague performance logs and elevate concerns to ADOH.\nConduct continuous inspections of all areas to ensure that quality standards are being met and SOPs are being followed.\nAssist in maximizing hotel profitability by property managing expenses, labor and other resources.\nAssist in the administrative and management of the Housekeeping operation to include but not limited to payroll, scheduling and other duties.\nOversee inventory and top off PAR levels as needed.\nOwn all guest complaints at the highest level and follow though to ensure complete satisfaction.\nGuarantee 100% quality of all VIP and Site Visit rooms.\nInvolvement in special projects.\nIn the absence of the Assistant Director of Housekeeping, assist the Director of Housekeeping to ensure all responsibilities and tasks are met.\nOther duties as assigned by the Director of Housekeeping and Assistant Director of Housekeeping.\nQualifications: Qualifications\nYour experience and skills include: Previous leadership experience, required\nProven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders\nAbility to lead by example, belief in a strong team culture and sets the scene for high performance.\nAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times\nExcellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language\nAbility to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage (‘Olelo Hawai’i/Ilocano/Tagalog)\nAbility to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team\nDetailed & service oriented with an eye for detail to be self-motivated and energetic.\nRecognized commitment to cleanliness and exceeding guest expectations\nSelf-motivation and organizational skills with the initiative and ability to complete projects in a timely manner and proven ability to work under pressure\nAn operational knowledge and proficiency in Property Management System (Opera) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)\nAdditional Information Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 USD\nVisa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
