{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"6dfd8b98048726f8cde8439d","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/6dfd8b98048726f8cde8439d","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/6dfd8b98048726f8cde8439d","title":"Flex Inspector","description":"Description\nSummary/Objective\n\nThis position verifies the quality of parts by visual inspection, dimensional verification and / or electrical testing to documented criteria, removes parts from the sheet, and packages parts for shipment.\n\nEssential Functions\n\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\n\nRead and follow instructions on a traveler and other company documentation to correctly complete required tasks.\nCorrectly fill out company documentation to accurately record manufacturing lot information, measurements, etc.\nWork under direct supervision and in accordance with instructions and techniques to correctly process parts.\nInspect parts using a microscope to determine conformance with company and customer inspection criteria.\nRemove parts from a sheet using scissors or clippers depending on the part.\nUse drop gauges and hand held micrometers to measure material thickness.\nUses various electrical test equipment to verify the circuit’s continuity and isolation.\nUnderstand the different sections of a flex circuit and the fundamentals of how a circuit works.\nIdentify and make recommendations for inspection improvement opportunities to help lower part costs and make parts quicker to process through the inspection department and the plant.\n\nCompetencies\n\nStrong time management skills with attention to details.\nOrganizational skills.\nProblem solving skills.\nBeing able to work with a team in a quick pace environment.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nSupervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.\n\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work\nThis is a full-time position. Flex Inspection| Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM). Shift: 3rd Shift (Monday–Thursday, 9:00 PM - 8:00 AM) Occasional overtime as deemed by management and production needs. Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.\nTravel No travel is expected for this position.\nRequired Education and Experience\n1. High School Diploma or GED. Preferred Education and Experience\n1.
