The position requires continuous learning and skill development, deep product knowledge, sales and client engagement competencies, prospecting for new revenue, consultative selling, and advancing proposals through the sales cycle.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nSales & Client Support\n\nPartner with RMs to support sales and servicing activities.\n\nAssist in identifying and qualifying prospects through industry and client research.\n\nCreate and maintain client management records in Iris, including client profiles and opportunity pipelines.\n\nPrepare and contribute to client presentations and proposals.\n\nAttend and actively participate in client meetings and presentations.\n\nCollect and input KYC due diligence information.\n\nConduct initial pricing analysis and generate relationship pricing models.\n\nDraft initial deal screens and opportunity memos.\n\nBusiness Development\n\nEngage in direct client contact to support relationship development.\n\nIdentify new business opportunities and apply consultative selling strategies.\n\nConduct initial outreach to prospective clients and facilitate introductions to Relationship Managers.\n\nSupport Relationship Managers in the negotiation, advancement, and closure of proposals.\n\nLearning & Development\n\nStructured onboarding and training in commercial banking solutions.\n\nAccess to internal learning platforms in finance, credit analysis, and relationship management.\n\nCoordinated access to experienced Relationship Managers and senior leaders as coaches.\n\nOpportunities to participate in cross-functional projects and client engagements.\n\nRegular performance feedback and career planning discussions.\n\nMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES\n\nBachelor’s degree in Business (Finance, Accounting, Business Administration), Liberal Arts or equivalent work experience preferred.\n\n1–2+ years of experience in commercial banking, financial services, client‑facing sales, or accounting.\n\nNovice to proficient knowledge of financial and credit risk analysis, U.S. economy and regulatory environment, sales and business development practices, commercial lending practices and corporate legal structures, and local/regional market dynamics.\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and presentation abilities.\n\nEffective problem‑solving and analytical skills; self‑driven with demonstrated ability to take ownership of multiple priorities.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.\n\nWORKING CONDITIONS\n\nStandard office environment with minimal exposure to noise, dust, or temperature variations.\n\nMinimal travel required.\n\nBENEFITS\nThe base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, experience, education, and geographic location.
