SUN is a partnership between Multnomah County, the School District, and El Programa Hispano Católico. In collaboration with the school principal, staff, family leadership team and community, the Site Manager will develop school-based programs addressing academics, enrichment, recreation, and social service needs.\n\nPrinciple Duties & Responsibilities:\n\nContract Oversight & Management\n\nDesign and implement the SUN Community School Extended-Day and Summer programming at the assigned school, aligning services of community partners, school-led, and SUN activities into one comprehensive model.\nDevelop culturally diverse core services to address academic, enrichment, recreation, leadership, and social service needs.\nSupport the layered services at SUN CS such as the monthly Free Food Market, Early Kindergarten Transition Program, and P-3 Program.\nLead the Family Leadership Parent meetings.\nLead community and family engagement outreach efforts at the school (i.e., SUN events, Back to School Night, Family Nights, etc.)\nDevelop improvement plans to adjust program delivery as necessary.\nOversee school site budget for program expenditures.\nData and Records.\nComplete accurate data entry and recordkeeping (databases, electronic, and paper files) as required by law, funders, and EPHC.\nEnsure all participant intakes, assessments, service plans, etc., adhere to State, Federal, and EPHC standards/guidelines of service-delivery and Code of Ethics.\nOrganize and maintain records, documentation, and reports as required by agency, partners, and funders.\nComplete contract narrative reports.\nParticipate in organized meetings with the school principal, funding organizations, representatives from various school districts, and members of the community to discuss important educational initiatives and collaborate on enhancing student support services.\n\nPartnerships & Collaboration\n\nBuild, strengthen, and maintain strong professional relationships with school administration, community partners, and the community.\nServe as the main point of contact for all after school activities at the assigned school.\nMaintain effective coordination and communication with assigned funder liaison and related staff.\n\nGeneral Responsibilities\n\nLead and oversee recruitment, hiring, training, and evaluation of temporary activity leaders.\nSupervise and support staff professional development.\nAttend required program, organizational, and funder meetings.\nEnsure EPHC’s policies and procedures are communicated and followed.\nPerform other duties as assigned by the program supervisor.\n\nQualifications and Requirements:\n\nMust be bilingual (Spanish/English) and bicultural responsive.\nAbility to communicate concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing in Spanish and English.\nAssociate's degree in public service, social work, education, or related field or similar field preferred.\nEducation or curriculum development experience, preferred.\nAt least 1 year of experience working with children, youth, and/or families is required.\nExperience and knowledge working with and organizing in Latinx/Communities of Color.\nAbility to demonstrate strong supervisory and coaching skills.\nDemonstrate judgment and discretion in dealing with confidential matters.\nProficient in all Microsoft Office products and working knowledge of Zoom, Google Meets, Teams, etc.\nMust be able to organize/prioritize work, be proactive, take initiative, follow through, and have a high attention to detail\nStrong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work well both independently and in a team setting; adapt well to dynamic work environment.\n\nOther Requirements:\n\nMust be available to work afterschool-hours, 2 pm -6:30pm\nAbility to work a flexible schedule, which could include weekends.\nOccasional travel for trainings, community partner meetings, and funder meetings.\nAbility to lift 40 pounds.\nMust have driver’s license, access to vehicle and automobile insurance at levels required by agency (100/300/100).\nSatisfactory results from civil, criminal, and motor vehicle background check required.\n\nCompensation: $54,000 annually.
