Paralegal

Seeking a paralegal/office manager with commercial real estate transactions and corporate law experience. The ideal candidate will possess a positive, pro-active, professional, and polished attitude and the ability to perform with minimal supervision. The right candidate has a strong ability to organize, prioritize, follow through on multiple projects, and communicate effectively and professionally with attorneys, clients, and office staff. This position also requires knowledge of administrative processes, IT systems, and research tools. This is a full-time position with growth and advancement opportunities.QualificationsStrong organizational skills and excellent attention to detailParalegal certificate or relevant experience in commercial real estate transactions and corporate mattersAbility to multitask and find/implement solutions to issuesExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsProficient technical skills in Adobe, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Sage TimeslipsParalegal DutiesDraft lease documents: lease amendments, lease termination agreements, and lease summariesPrepare and file entity formations, foreign registrations, amendments, dissolutions, and other filings with the Secretary of StateDraft corporate maintenance documents: operating agreements, amendments, corporate resolutions, and written consentsManage commercial real estate due diligence for commercial real estate acquisitions and sales; review surveys and title reports; prepare due diligence trackers; draft title objection letters; coordinate with buyer, seller, title, and escrow for the execution and delivery of documents to ensure complete and prompt closings; prepare and maintain closing bindersResearch legal matters and provide support to clients and attorneys in preparing, revising, formatting, and finalizing legal documentsOffice Manager DutiesTake ownership for the success of the firm-wide administrative functions by communicating with the attorneys, and bringing action items forward to the appropriate individual’s attention; organize client files and maintain/update ongoing list of client transactionsPrepare client invoices and monthly billing, inputting time charges into billing softwareMonitor, order and organize office supplies; anticipate requirementsMaintain office equipment through preventive maintenance, monitoring equipment operation, troubleshooting failures, and working with outside IT when necessary
