We value your dedication and provide the support you need to succeed.Responsibilities:Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and transfersSafely support mobility, including use of wheelchairs and assistive devicesProvide companionship, conversation, and emotional supportOffer medication reminders (no administration)Perform light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, grocery shopping, and errandsFollow individualized care plans and agency policiesObserve and report any changes in client condition to a supervisorQualifications:Minimum 6 months of professional caregiving experience (home care, assisted living, or facility)Must pass a caregiver skills assessment prior to hireAbility to communicate effectively in English (verbal & written) without an interpreterBilingual (English + Spanish or another language) strongly preferredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility/transfersMust have a smartphone with internet access for scheduling and documentationReliable transportation to client homes (car preferred)Must pass a background check and NC Health Care Personnel Registry clearanceFlexible availability, including weekendsCompassionate, patient, and dependableAt Caring Hands, we know caregivers are the heart of our agency.
