The successful candidate will handle a diverse caseload focused on catastrophic injuries, motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, medical malpractice, product liability and other complex personal injury matters. This role requires litigators who can manage cases from intake through trial, work closely with experts and clients, and pursue maximum recovery for injured individuals and families, including wrongful death and toxic tort claims.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nManage a full caseload of personal injury matters including catastrophic injuries, motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall, premises liability, dog bites, workplace and construction injuries, and more.\nConduct client intake and interviews, evaluate liability and damages, and develop case strategy tailored to each matter.\nInvestigate claims by obtaining and reviewing police reports, medical records, employment records, and other evidence; coordinate with experts (medical, accident reconstruction, vocational, economists)\nDraft pleadings, complaints, motions, discovery requests and responses, settlement demand letters, and pre-trial materials.\nTake and defend depositions, prepare witnesses, and represent clients and witnesses at mediations, hearings, and trials.\nNegotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies to achieve favorable resolutions while advising clients on risks and options.\nPrepare exhibits, demonstrative evidence, and trial presentations; manage case budgets and invoices.\nMaintain timely client communication, preserve detailed case files, and meet court deadlines and billing requirements.\nCollaborate with colleagues on complex cases, mentor junior staff when appropriate, and contribute to firm initiatives and business development.\nQualifications\nJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and membership in good standing with the state bar (or eligibility for admission).\n2+ years of litigation experience with a primary focus on personal injury; experience with catastrophic injury, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and wrongful death cases preferred.\nProven courtroom experience including taking depositions and participating in jury trials or bench trials; strong comfort with courtroom advocacy.\nDemonstrated knowledge of personal injury areas including motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, slip and fall, dog bites, medical malpractice, product liability, workplace and construction injury, toxic tort, and nursing home abuse/neglect.\nExcellent legal research, drafting, and oral advocacy skills; capable of producing persuasive pleadings and settlement demands.\nExperience working with medical records and coordinating expert witnesses (medical, life care planners, economists, accident reconstructionists).\nStrong negotiation skills, attention to detail, time management and the ability to prioritize a heavy caseload.\nHigh ethical standards, excellent client service and interpersonal skills, and the ability to explain complex legal issues to clients compassionately.\nReliable transportation and willingness to travel to courts, depositions and client or site visits as required.\nBenefits\nCompetitive compensation + large bonus potential\nMedical\nDental\nVision\n401k with employer match\nFSA\nPaid time off\nProfessional development\nCompany-paid educational expenses\nWork-life balance - Remote opportunity\n...and more!\nFor this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
