You will gain experience working with mechanical, electrical, and software teams—building real project management skills in a technical environment. This is a paid part-time position for the summer and is only open to U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents.\nYour responsibilities may include:\nProject Coordination & Scheduling\nWork with various teams to document tasks and assist in building project schedules\nManage simple project timelines and track milestones\nHelp ensure teams understand priorities, deadlines, and upcoming deliverables\nMeetings & Communication\nHost status and stand-up meetings with cross‑functional project teams\nRecord meeting notes, statuses, and action items clearly and consistently\nFollow up with team members to ensure tasks are progressing as planned\nIssue Tracking & Risk Management\nAnticipate potential project issues and escalate concerns when necessary\nHelp mitigate risks by coordinating with the proper team members\nAssist with identifying blockers and facilitating resolutions\nTechnical Support\nAct as a technical resource for project teams when needed\nWork with teams across mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines\nGain exposure to the full lifecycle of technical projects\nAdditional Responsibilities\nSupport project managers with day‑to‑day administrative and organizational tasks\nParticipate in continuous improvement of project workflows\nPerform other duties as assigned\n\nWhat You Bring - We are looking for a motivated student who enjoys organizing, communicating, and helping technical teams stay aligned.\nSuccessful candidates:\nAbility to work the following:\nDuring the Spring/Fall Semesters: a minimum of 20 hours/week (Monday – Friday, no nights or weekends)\nDuring the Summer: a minimum of 32 hours/week (Monday – Friday, no nights or weekends)\nAre comfortable “speaking” multiple technical languages—mechanical, electrical, and software\nCan manage simple project schedules and timelines\nHave strong communication and documentation skills\nDemonstrate strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities\nPay close attention to detail\nHave strong negotiation or conflict‑resolution skills\nWork well in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment\n\nBonus Skills (Not Required!) - Experience with any of the following is helpful, but not required:\nProject Tools\nJira for project tracking and task management\nConfluence for documentation and team collaboration\nMicrosoft Project for creating and managing project schedules\n\nProductivity & Documentation Tools\nMS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio\nExperience organizing technical documentation or workflows\nFamiliarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies\nCompany Description\nEngineering Innovation, Inc.
