Projects may include renovations, emergency repairs, paving, public works improvements, historical building relocation, facility upgrades, and other specialty construction projects.The Project Manager will focus on project execution - coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules and documentation, communicating with clients, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.What You'll DoManage multiple active projects simultaneously from kickoff through completionCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, clients, and field personnelConduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, safety, and project timelinesReview project documentation, contracts, budgets, change orders, and schedulesTrack project updates and maintain accurate records and reportingPrepare meeting notes, project status updates, and project filesAssist with work orders, RFP coordination, and project administrationIdentify project issues proactively and help drive practical solutionsEnsure projects are completed in a safe, organized, and professional mannerProject Types Projects vary in scope and complexity and may include: Interior renovationsMunicipal and public works projectsEmergency repair workFacility upgrades and improvementsPainting and paving projectsHistorical building relocationSite and infrastructure improvements Most projects range from several weeks to a few months in duration, with typical project values between $100K-$500K. What We're Looking For4+ years of experience in construction project management, contracting, facilities projects, or related fieldExperience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractorsPositive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindsetGeneral construction knowledge across trades including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and site workUnderstanding of municipal or public-sector projects is a strong plusOSHA 30 Certification Technical SkillsMicrosoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointAdobe Acrobat/PDF toolsScheduling software such as MS ProjectCRM/ERP systems such as Salesforce or similar platforms Additional InformationPrimarily based out of the Southfield/Detroit headquarters officeOccasional travel to project sites throughout MichiganRare overnight travelSmall, collaborative team environment with opportunity for long-term growth We are looking for someone who is proactive, dependable, and willing to do what it takes to keep projects moving successfully from start to finish. #IND
