Spanish Language Instructor -Sacramento, CA (onsite)

PGLS is looking for a Spanish Language Instructor to teach an one-on-one, intensive course for an adult professional, onsite in Sacramento, CA. This position is for a class scheduled to start on October 28, for 6 months. Requirements Educated native or bilingual speaker. 2+ year(s) of classroom experience teaching Spanish to adult English-speaking students. 1+ year(s) of teaching experience in a small-group classroom setting. Must possess the cultural background of the country and geographical region. (raised or educated in the geographical region). Familiarity with the ILR language levels and ILR-based proficiency assessment highly desired. Familiarity with various computer platforms including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual meeting software (Zoom, Skype, MS Teams). Skills Required Experience teachin Spanish as a Foreign Language, preferably to adults. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a distributed team. Strong client service, organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities Ability to work remotely and provide required services from alternate locations via Zoom, Skype, MS Teams, WebEx, etc. at the direction of the Client highly desired Instructors must be able to work in a harmonious and professional manner with cultures from around the world Benefits PGLS is committed to equal opportunity in employment.
