Preschool Teacher Assistant

Responsibilities: -Assist in creating and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow - Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities - Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a well-rounded educational experience - Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment Skills: - Strong knowledge of child development principles and practices - Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues - Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children - Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles - Knowledge of early childhood education standards and regulations Job Type: Full-time Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40 per week Schedule: 4 hour shift 8 hour shift After school Day shift Monday to Friday No nights No weekends Work Location: In person
