As a key player in our logistics operations, you will contribute to maintaining smooth shipping and receiving processes, supporting overall warehouse productivity.\nResponsibilities\nLoad and unload materials using heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes, adhering to safety protocols.\nOperate warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to accurately track inventory movements.\nPerform order picking using pickers and ensure precise selection for shipping orders.\nHandle heavy lifting tasks safely, utilizing pallet jacks and other mechanical tools.\nManage shipping and receiving activities, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.\nMaintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency.\nConduct routine inspections of equipment like forklifts and cranes, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards.\nAssist in inventory counts, stock replenishment, and materials handling tasks as needed.\nSupport warehouse supervisors in daily operations and process improvements related to heavy equipment operation.\nNight Shift: Monday - Thursday 6p-6a\nExperience\nPrior experience in warehouse distribution or materials handling is highly preferred.\nProven ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks.\nKnowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanner technology.\nFamiliarity with OSHA safety regulations related to warehouse operations.\nExperience with shipping & receiving procedures, order picking, and load & unload activities.\nMechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.\nPrevious supervisory or team lead experience in a warehouse setting is a plus.\nStrong physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks and repetitive movements.\nConstruction or industrial background involving heavy equipment operation is advantageous.
