Our platform spans the full care journey: Ambient AI and Dictation eliminating documentation burden at the point of care, intelligent Agents automating patient and revenue workflows, and autonomous RCM processing billions in claims, all on a single AI-native platform integrated with 60+ EHRs.\nHealthcare carries a $1 trillion administrative burden and we're at the center of transforming it. Today, 500,000+ clinicians across 500+ healthcare organizations nationwide trust Commure to handle $25B+ in annual claims and support over 200 million patient interactions. Our latest $70M raise at a $7B valuation reflects the confidence the market has placed in this mission. We've also been named to the Fortune Future 50 list and the 2026 AI Breakthrough Awards for “Overall NLP Company of the Year.”\nOur team works directly alongside clinicians, not through layers of process, which means the gap between what you build and its impact on patient care is immediate. We move fast, deploy daily, and take full ownership from early thinking to production. If you're energized by hard problems, high stakes, and a team that holds itself to a high bar, you'll find your people here.\nThe future of healthcare is being built right now. Come deliver this transformation.\nAbout the Role\nWe're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to architect scalable detection frameworks, integrate threat intelligence into automated security pipelines, and build AI-driven security operations at scale. You'll translate complex security requirements into production-grade software that protects our enterprise and cloud infrastructure — and you'll partner with red team, threat intel, and SOC engineers to move from signal to outcome.\n\nFull Time position requires working 3 days a week in our Mountain View office (Hybrid)\n\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign high-fidelity detections and correlation logic in Splunk Enterprise Security and AWS OpenSearch — tuning for coverage and signal-to-noise.\nBuild AI-powered detection tooling that ingests threat intel and recommends new use cases using ML and NLP techniques.\nWrite production Python, Java, and Bash to automate workflows, build internal tooling, and integrate with cloud and third-party APIs.\nEngineer ETL pipelines for log ingestion, normalization, and routing across AWS, multi-cloud, and on-prem environments.\nTranslate red team findings, threat hunts, and pentest results into durable detection improvements and control enhancements.\nDrive detection standards and reusable patterns across endpoint, network, identity, and cloud domains.\nMentor engineers and analysts on detection methodology, secure software practices, and architecture.\nWhat You Have\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a closely related technical field (Master's a plus).\n6+ years in software and/or security engineering, with 2+ years building detections on enterprise SIEMs (Splunk, OpenSearch, Securonix, or equivalent).\n2+ years hands-on experience developing security automation or AI/ML-based security applications in Python, Java, or similar.\nStrong command of AWS (SageMaker, OpenSearch, Lambda, IAM), EDR platforms (CrowdStrike, Carbon Black), and modern identity tooling.\nFluency with MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, Zero Trust, and CIS Controls; comfort integrating STIX/TAXII and MISP feeds.\nTrack record supporting compliance audits (SOC 2, FedRAMP, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or SOX) from a hands-on engineering seat.\nNice to Have\nSplunk Certified Architect or Developer; CISSP, CEH, or GIAC GCED.\nExperience applying ML to anomaly detection, behavioral analytics, or security NLP.\nBackground in healthcare, financial services, or other regulated industries.\nEnterprise vulnerability management experience — authenticated scanning, CVSS prioritization, automated reporting.\nPlease be aware that all official communication from us will come exclusively from email addresses ending in @commure.com.
