In this role, you will contribute to the delivery of preliminary engineering, final design, construction drawings, construction support, and close-out services for development projects. You will work with clients and stakeholders to effectively manage engineering tasks and deliverables, with a strong emphasis on quality, communication, and collaboration.\r\nWe Are Looking For\r\nWe are eager to grow and develop an emerging leader that will be an integral part of expanding our local team.\r\nYour Key Responsibilities\r\nResponsible for the overall project performance and implementation of our project management frameworks.\r\nPrimary point of contact and representative to internal partners and clients.\r\nServe as the technical lead for the project team responsible for preparing grading, drainage, wet utility, street improvements, and other civil engineering design documents, as well as hydrology/hydraulic storm water modeling and hydraulic modeling of pipe networks.\r\nManage multiple projects with day-to-day project oversight managing the approved scope, budget and schedule.\r\nDevelop, track, update, forecast and modify the project schedule and budget throughout all phases of the project.\r\nPrepare and communicate project status on a regular basis with the client, project team and Community Development leadership.\r\nReview and approve all invoices and change orders associated with the project.\r\nAssist in developing new work opportunities and building client relationships.\r\nYour Capabilities\r\nUnderstanding of project scoping, identification of deliverables, tasks, scheduling, resourcing, and project budgeting with a grasp of how these change throughout any project.\r\nStrong problem-solving skills related to the delivery of infrastructure projects.\r\nStrong understanding of design and construction permitting / approval process and requirements.\r\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant design software (AutoCAD Civil3D, locally accepted hydrology and hydraulic programs, etc.).\r\nExcellent interpersonal skills, and team oriented.\r\nStrong written and oral communication skills.\r\nExcellent organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.\r\nLocal project resume and experience strongly preferred.\r\nPossess a valid driver's license and good driving record.\r\nEducation and Credentials\r\nMinimum 8 years of related experience in Civil Engineering.\r\nBachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related degree.\r\nRegistered Professional Engineer (P.E.).\r\nTypical Office Environment\r\nTypical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.\r\nPay Range\r\nLocations in WA, DC & Various CA, MA areas - $126,400.00 - $189,600.00 Annually\r\nPay Transparency\r\nIn compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
