There are no limits to where you can take your career.Job SummaryThe Material Handler is responsible for following standard material handling procedures including receiving, shipping, and warehousing activities while ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with safety and quality standards. This role involves using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, tow trains, and electric pallet jacks to move materials efficiently. The position also requires recording material movements in transactional record systems, including receipts and bookings, while continuously identifying and proposing improvements to enhance safety, quality, and operational efficiency.Job ResponsibilitiesManage inbound material flow and monitor inbound delivery performance.Receive, inspect and store inbound deliveries.Prepare package and shipment,Perform reverse logistics, and salvage activities.Locate stock and prepare stock for movement.Maintain inventory status.Perform physical inventory procedures.Will be working with recyclable material: moving bins, bailing boxes, breaking down plastics and other dutiesWill be working on scrap metal materials: Cutting metal with torches and other tools, separating the metals pieces, and organizing waste binsJob QualificationsRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED equivalent2+ years of experience in a manufacturing / warehouse environment2+ years of forklifting experienceMust be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder due to program security clearance requirements and/or SSA requirementsPreferred QualificationsGKN experienceLEAN Manufacturing5sInventory ManagementTransport ManagementInbound OperationsMental and Physical DemandsManual dexterityAbility to stand for long periods of timeLift up to 50 poundsGood vision with correctionWears appropriate PPE as requiredCompensation RangeThe compensation range for this position is between $19.38 - $20.70We’ll offer you fantastic challenges and amazing opportunities.
