This includes understanding the effects of manufacturing processing and heat treatment on properties.\n\nEssential duties & responsibilities\nThe essential functions of the job include the following:\nReview and execute approval of special manufacturing processes that have metallurgical requirements\nMaterial related non-conformance assessments and dispositions\nRoot cause analysis\nGas turbine material selection: Stainless steel, low carbon steel, nickel, and cobalt alloys for components throughout the gas turbine.
