This remote opportunity offers the chance to support a mature ERP environment while helping shape the next phase of platform innovation through emerging integration capabilities.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain integrations between ERP platforms and external applications and servicesDevelop custom applications and solutions within Workday ExtendSupport integration work across Workday HCM, Payroll, Financials, and SAP AribaCreate and maintain both master data and transactional data integrationsUse modern integration tools and approaches such as Studio, connectors, EIBs, web services, and orchestrationContribute to initiatives supporting SAP Ariba’s transition to Business Technology Platform capabilitiesMonitor integrations, investigate issues, and help strengthen alerting and error handlingCollaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve data and integration questionsProvide troubleshooting and on-call support for integration environments as neededApply Agile methods in day-to-day delivery and coordinationSkills3-5 years of experience developing Workday integrations and/or SAP Ariba integrationsHands-on experience with Workday Studio, Cloud Connectors, EIBs, web services, and orchestrationExperience working with Ariba REST APIs, ITK, and configuration managementStrong understanding of API and web service technologies, including REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, WSDL, and XSLTProficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or GroovyExperience designing and developing integrations for cloud-based platformsKnowledge of monitoring, alerting, and error handling best practices for integrationsAbility to work collaboratively across technical teams and third partiesFamiliarity with Agile delivery methods such as Kanban and ScrumPreferred SkillsExperience with Workday Extend application developmentExposure to SAP Ariba Business Technology Platform, including Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh, or Open ConnectorsExperience supporting integrations across multiple ERP domainsBackground in software engineering practices related to integration lifecycle managementStrong problem-solving skills and comfort working in a fast-moving environmentHorizontal is committed to creating an inclusive environment where different perspectives are valued and everyone has the opportunity to contribute and grow.
