From initial design through final construction, we deliver comprehensive solutions with a commitment to quality and professionalism.\n\nPosition Summary\n\nHorace Engineering Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer, P.Eng. to join our Surrey-based team and take a key role in the design and delivery of residential, multi-family, agricultural, and light commercial projects throughout British Columbia.\n\nThis is a hands-on senior engineering role for someone who combines strong technical judgment with the ability to keep multiple projects moving. You'll perform structural analysis and design, review and seal engineering documents, conduct site reviews, provide technical guidance to junior team members, and work directly with clients and contractors to resolve design and construction challenges.\n\nWe're looking for an engineer who is thorough without losing momentum, comfortable making sound technical decisions, and collaborative in how they work with others. You'll have the autonomy expected of a senior professional while being part of a close-knit team that values accuracy, responsiveness, practical problem-solving, and high-quality work.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nYou'll work across our full range of structural building projects (residential, multi-family, farm, and small commercial) taking on structural analysis and design, overseeing drawing production and detailing, and completing site reviews.
