We are building software for green infrastructure developers to identify the best places to build and manage their projects.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing Lead development-driven projects across site origination, permitting, and interconnection\nRun site screening processes across greenfield and acquisition pathways, including outreach, LOI negotiation, and economic modeling.\nTranslate regulatory requirements (local permitting, AHJ engagement, etc.) into clear roadmaps and submitted applications.\nAutomate away inefficiency\nBuild and maintain internal tooling and repeatable workflows to eliminate manual steps in site evaluation and diligence.\nContribute ideas to the product roadmap based on frontline exposure to pain points in the deployment lifecycle.\nAct as the internal developer voice\nChampion customer and market context in product discussions, ensure our siting, permitting, and power products reflect on-the-ground realities.\nFile clear product tickets, surface patterns across projects, and participate in design reviews.\nMentor and level-up the org\nSupport Associate Solutions Engineers, codify learnings into playbooks, and actively improve how Paces delivers on high-speed development projects.\nRequirements 3+ years of experience in renewable energy, data center infrastructure, or utility-scale development. Roles may include: Development Engineer, Site Acquisition Manager, Interconnection Analyst, or Deployment Strategist.\nHands-on comfort with GIS tools to analyze geospatial or interconnection data.\nStrong communication skills; you can confidently interface with landowners, utilities, permitting agencies, and internal product/engineering teams.\nUnderstanding of project economics, interconnection milestones, and permitting workflows.\nAbout You You wake up excited about grid infrastructure, climate tech, or the data-center energy arms race.\nYou’re energized by rolling up your sleeves and executing: sourcing parcels, submitting interconnection filings, or debugging model output.\nYou thrive in ambiguity and find fulfillment in solving un-scoped problems.\nYou have a meticulous attention to detail and a passion for getting it right, whether that’s a zoning map, load flow model, or customer proposal.\nBonus Points Prior experience at a high-growth startup or deployment-focused consultancy.\nExposure to permitting in local jurisdictions and working with AHJs.\nHands-on comfort with Python or internal scripting frameworks to automate tasks.\nCompensation and Benefits $150,000-$170,000 annual compensation\nCompetitive equity compensation\n401(k) match\nHealth, Dental and Vision insurance\nPaid company holidays & PTO\nHybrid work in the office in Williamsburg, Brooklyn ~3x per week\nAbout Paces Paces is software for green infrastructure developers to identify the best places to build and manage their projects.
