Project Manager / Senior Project Manager – Public Infrastructure (MTA Projects) Location: New York City, NY Employment Type: Full-Time Work Location: On-site (NYC five boroughs)  Forte Construction Corp. is seeking an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to support continued growth in our public infrastructure market. This individual will lead complex transit-related construction projects performed for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. This position is ideal for a construction professional with demonstrated experience delivering public work in high-accountability, owner-driven environments.  Position Responsibilities Lead all phases of assigned public infrastructure construction projects Serve as primary liaison with owner representatives and agency stakeholders Manage contract administration, change order negotiation, and project documentation Oversee schedule, cost control, subcontractor coordination, and field leadership Ensure compliance with agency standards, safety requirements, and quality protocols Support company growth initiatives through strong project execution and client engagement  Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Construction Management, or related field) preferred 10+ years of relevant experience in public sector infrastructure construction with a general contractor required Demonstrated experience managing large, complex projects performed for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority Strong working knowledge of public contract requirements and documentation standards Proven ability to manage complex schedules, budgets, and stakeholder coordination  Compensation In accordance with New York salary transparency requirements, the anticipated annual base salary range for this position is: $185,000 – $250,000 Total compensation, including performance-based bonus, is expected to be approximately: Up to $300,000 annually (Bonuses vary based on project size and performance.) Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated project leadership background.  Benefits Forte Construction offers a comprehensive benefits package, including: 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage Retirement options, including a choice between a 401(k) plan with company match or a pension plan 15 days paid time off plus 11 paid holidays Performance-based incentives Forte Construction supports employment-based visa sponsorship and is able to consider candidates requiring H-1B sponsorship, subject to applicable legal requirements.  About Forte Construction Forte Construction is a New York-based general contractor specializing in public infrastructure projects.
