The CONTROLLER is responsible for all financial aspects of our operations, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely reporting. This role is crucial in driving the financial strategy and ensuring the overall financial health of the organization.Responsibilities Of a CONTROLLER IncludesOversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Manage procurement processes, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and vendor relations.Oversee all insurance policies, ensuring compliance and adequate coverage for company needs.Serve as the primary liaison with banking institutions to manage accounts, facilitate transactions, and resolve any banking issues.Act as the point of contact for the Corporate Controlling Department in Germany, ensuring alignment with corporate financial standards and practices.Oversee licensing for software applications (e.g., MS Office) and manage other operational licenses (e.g., phone lines).Support the accounting department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and other financial reporting requirements.Negotiate and manage leases for company vehicles, ensuring optimal terms and compliance with contractual obligations.Conduct financial analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.Develop strategies to optimize cash management and reduce financial riskDevelop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to enhance accuracy and efficiency.Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.Provide insights and recommendations based on financial performance and industry trends.Evaluating accounting and internal control systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with organizational objectives.REQUIRED Experience And EducationBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.Experience in the staffing services or professional services industry is highly desirable.Strong knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite).Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.Conducting (drug screening and/or background check) report inquiries may be necessary for employment purposes.Job Impulse, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
