This role combines modern software quality assurance practices with hands-on system, device, and network validation.\nThe ideal candidate brings strong experience in test design, automation, and defect analysis, along with the ability to validate software within real-world environments including device interaction, barcode systems, and network configurations. This is a highly technical, individual contributor role critical to delivering high-quality, integrated solutions to customers.\nThis role is ideal for a QA professional who thrives at the intersection of software and systems—someone who enjoys both building automated test frameworks and validating how software performs in real-world, device-driven environments.\nCandidates may come from either a strong software automation background with exposure to systems testing, or a systems/device testing background with growing experience in automation.\nKey Responsibilities\nSoftware Quality Assurance & Automation\n· Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features, enhancements, and sustaining engineering work.\n· Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing across desktop, web, and mobile applications.\n· Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites using modern frameworks aligned to the development tech stack.\n· Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and test strategy discussions with software engineering teams.\n· Conduct defect investigations, root-cause analysis, and validation of bug fixes.\nSystems, Device & Network Validation\n· Validate software behavior in integrated environments involving hardware devices and peripheral systems.\n· Perform barcode verification and testing across supported devices and workflows.\n· Configure and test network environments, including DHCP and static IP configurations, to validate system behavior under varying conditions.\n· Design and execute complex edge-case and negative testing scenarios to ensure system robustness.\n· Conduct integration testing across software, firmware, and hardware components.\n· Reproduce and troubleshoot issues found in real-world or lab-based environments.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\n· Work closely with software engineers, firmware engineers, electrical engineering, manufacturing, and product teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.\n· Support field issue analysis by reproducing defects and validating corrective actions.\n· Partner with stakeholders to align testing strategies with product and business objectives.\nQuality Practices & Continuous Improvement\n· Maintain accurate QA documentation including test results, metrics, and release validation summaries.\n· Contribute to best practices in testing, automation, and continuous quality improvement.\n· Stay current with emerging tools, technologies, and testing methodologies.\nQualifications\nEducation & Experience\n· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.\n· 5+ years of experience in software QA, test engineering, or related roles.\n· Experience testing software across desktop, web, and mobile platforms.\n· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.\nTechnical Expertise\n· Strong understanding of SQA methodologies, SDLC, and testing best practices.\n· Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar.\n· Experience with API testing and REST-based services.\n· Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).\nMicrosoft Stack Experience:\n· C#, VB.NET, or F# (reading and understanding)\n· .NET / .NET Framework\n· Blazor, WPF, MAUI (Blazor Hybrid)\nTools & Platforms:\n· Azure DevOps or Jira for test and defect management\n· Azure or AWS cloud environments\n· Visual Studio, VS Code, or similar IDEs\nSystems & Integration Experience:\n· Experience testing software integrated with hardware devices or embedded systems\n· Familiarity with networking fundamentals, including DHCP and static IP configuration\n· Experience with barcode systems, printing systems, or similar device-based workflows\n· Understanding of system-level and integration testing in real-world environments\nAdditional Skills\n· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills\n· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)\n· Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams\n· Experience with performance and load testing is a plus\n· Familiarity with UI/UX validation and front-end testing principles\nPay: $75.00 -
