Individuals will be responsible for avariety of duties including: Performing required operations connectedwith measuring, inspecting, testing and re-spooling wire and cable inpreparation for shipping or its next operation. Targeted job trainingprovided for all skill levels starting on day 1 and throughout yourcareer at Judd Wire. Minimum Hourly Rate: \\$19.67-23.62/hour,\\$3.00/hour 3rd shift differential. Job Duties and Responsibilities Workfrom orders, special customer requirements, requisitions, verbalinstructions as to type of wire gauge and number of ends, number ofpicks or crossovers per inch; footage required on order and footagedelivered from previous operations; meet schedules, work in BPCS system.Maintain desired number of ends; mount bobbins on braider carriersleading to ends of braiding point. Maintain good traverse duringbraiding operations; use micrometer to check wire gauges. Separatedifferent gauges for use, return to stock. Follow SOP\\'s; change take upreels before being overfilled. Make minor adjustments to ensure smoothmachine operation, motor speeds, tension on carrier stems. Perform minormaintenance including oiling of machines. Cut loose ends of braid,separate bobbins, box for return to vendor and keep guards and shieldover pulley gears and chain. Know raw material part and lot numbers asnecessary. Utilize computer system to determine raw materials inventoryas required to complete orders. May contact other departments regardingraw materials. Detect and report defective materials, impropercompounding, malfunctioning equipment, unusual conditions tosupervision. Observe all safety rules and regulations. Maintainequipment and work areas in clean and orderly condition.
