As a Program Manager, you will lead cross-functional manufacturing programs from initiation through delivery. You will ensure programs meet customer requirements, timelines, quality standards, and financial objectives while serving as the primary point of coordination across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and customer stakeholders.\n\nThe ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field and brings 5+ years of program or project management experience in a manufacturing or technical environment. Experience in metal fabrication, stamping, welding, or precision manufacturing is strongly preferred, as is aerospace and defense manufacturing experience. PMP, Lean, or Six Sigma certification is a plus.\n\nResponsibilities:\nLead end-to-end program execution – Lead end-to-end program execution from quote handoff through production and delivery.\nDevelop and manage program plans – Develop and manage program schedules, milestones, resources, and budgets.\nCoordinate cross-functional teams – Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sales.\nServe as primary customer contact – Serve as the primary customer contact for program status, risks, and deliverables.\nIdentify and mitigate program risks – Identify program risks, develop mitigation plans, and escalate issues as needed.\nFacilitate program reviews – Facilitate regular program reviews and internal status meetings.\nEnsure quality and compliance – Ensure adherence to customer specifications, quality standards, and compliance requirements.\nDrive continuous improvement – Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, cost, and delivery performance.\nMaintain program documentation – Maintain detailed program documentation, including timelines, change requests, and post-program reviews.\n\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field preferred\n5+ years of program or project management experience in a manufacturing or technical environment\nStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skills\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, short-lead-time environment\nProficiency with project management tools and reporting systems\nExperience in metal fabrication, stamping, welding, or precision manufacturing preferred\nAerospace and defense manufacturing experience preferred\nPMP, Lean, or Six Sigma certification preferred\nStrong customer-facing experience preferred\nAbility to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority\nFull-time, on-site position with regular interaction with shop floor operations\nMust be eligible to work in the United States\n\nAbout Technique:\n\nTechnique is a Michigan-based precision sheet metal and welded assemblies manufacturer serving aerospace, defense, automotive, motorsports, medical, and food processing industries.
