This critical leadership role will oversee all aspects of accounting, program financial reporting, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, audit support, and internal controls across complex of mission critical programs.\r\nThe Financial Controller will partner closely with executive leadership, program management, contracts, and operations teams to ensure financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and optimal financial performance. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in government contracting, federal acquisition regulations, cost accounting standards, and complex program financial management within a large-scale federal contracting environment.\r\nKey Responsibilities Lead all accounting and financial operations for a significant portfolio of federal contracts, task orders, and programs.\r\nOversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.\r\nPrepare and analyze program financial statements, variance analyses, and executive-level reporting packages.\r\nDevelop and maintain financial dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and program profitability analyses.\r\nProvide strategic financial guidance to program managers and executive leadership regarding contract performance and financial risks.\r\nEnsure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) requirements, and other applicable government contracting regulations.\r\nOversee indirect rate calculations, incurred cost submissions, forward pricing proposals, and cost pool management.\r\nReview contract funding, billing, revenue recognition, and project cost accounting activities.\r\nEnsure adherence to contract-specific requirements and government accounting standards.\r\nSupport government audits, DCAA reviews, and customer financial inquiries.\r\nLead annual budgeting and long-range planning processes for assigned program portfolio.\r\nDevelop revenue, margin, cash flow, and indirect rate forecasts.\r\nMonitor program performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying opportunities for improved financial performance.\r\nProvide financial modeling and scenario analysis to support business decisions and contract pursuits.\r\nPartner with business development and capture teams to support pricing strategies and proposal development.\r\nMaintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting and program accounting activities.\r\nEnsure compliance with SOX requirements and corporate governance policies.\r\nIdentify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting capabilities, and operational efficiencies.\r\nLead implementation of accounting system enhancements and process automation initiatives.\r\nEstablish best practices for program financial management across the organization.\r\nManage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting and finance professionals.\r\nFoster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.\r\nCollaborate across finance, contracts, procurement, human resources, and program operations functions.\r\nServe as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on financial and compliance matters.\r\nQualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
