Production Associate 2nd shift

Nesco Resource is currently sourcing for a Production Associate for our client in Sterling Heights, MI. Shift: 2:00 PM 10:00 PM, Monday through Saturday Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour Position Summary Level 1 Production Associates perform a variety of general labor tasks involved in the manufacturing of brake pads, specifically focused on applying friction materials and supporting production operations. Associates may be assigned to different workstations and will be cross-trained to ensure flexibility and efficiency across the production line. Key ResponsibilitiesOperate machinery and load/unload parts as requiredInspect parts for quality as they come off the production linePackage finished products and prepare them for shipmentMaintain clean and organized workstations and equipmentFollow all work instructions, processes, and safety proceduresRotate between workstations as neededReport any safety, quality, or equipment issues to supervisors immediatelyPerform additional duties as assigned by leadership Qualifications & SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishStrong attention to detail with accurate and legible documentation skillsBasic math skills requiredAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsPrevious manufacturing or production experience is a plus Work ExpectationsMaintain punctuality and reliable attendance; overtime may be requiredMeet production goals for quality and outputInspect and evaluate parts according to training standardsAdhere to the "stop at first defect quality philosophyWork effectively in a team-oriented environmentMaintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipmentAbility to lift 20 35 lbs depending on workstationNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
