Sam is best known for making chips in his garage, and Jim has been a leader in the semiconductor industry for the past 40 years.\nAbout the role As the Facilities Technician at Atomic, you will be responsible for supporting and helping to manage our facilities footprint. This position covers a wide range of responsibilities, including equipment repair and maintenance, vendor management, building furniture, supporting our R&D and production teams, and overall oversight of our facilities footprint. No two days will look the same, and no task is too small, as you take pride in delivering exceptional quality and attention to detail in every aspect of your work.\nYou will cultivate and and manage a network of trusted contractors and service providers to ensure our facilities operate efficiently and safely. This is an opportunity to drive meaningful and impactful improvements in a fast-paced, hands-on environment while building out world-class facilities to push forward Atomic’s mission.\nResponsibilities Oversee the entire lifecycle of multidisciplinary facilities projects including maintenance, planning, and execution for Atomic’s facilities footprint\n\nTake on ad hoc projects across various disciplines to ensure business continuity and growth\n\nDevelop, manage, and communicate execution plans, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to\n\nProactively identify and resolve issues on-site to ensure uninterrupted operations\n\nInteract with engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders as project work requires ensuring intended execution of work\n\nOccasional travel will be required based on specific projects\n\nAbility to work outside standard working hours as needed\n\nRequired Experience 3+ years of professional experience in relevant field\n\nProven experience in areas including, but not limited to: preventative maintenance, interior fit-outs, MEP, HVAC, process piping, and other complex mechanical systems\n\nProven ability to work independently, handle ambiguity, and achieve results with limited guidance\n\nA can-do mindset with a focus on practical problem-solving and execution\n\nDemonstrated ability to deliver results through ownership, teamwork, and humility\n\nStrong organizational and time management skills\n\nStrong understanding of local permitting and regulatory processes and regulations\n\nNice-to-have Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field\n\nExperience in strategic facilities planning and value engineering\n\nExperience in semiconductor, chemicals, or other hardware-specific facilities or projects\n\nExperience working with startups or fast-scaling companies\n\nWorking at Atomic Semi We’re an early-stage hardware startup with solid funding, world-class advisors, and a lab/office in San Francisco, CA.\nCompensation: Atomic Semi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The annual salary range for this role is $100,000 – $125,000. Compensation is determined based on your qualifications and experience.
