Rotations may include Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC/Mechanical, Trades and Central Plant.\nOther duties as assigned.\nMinimum Education Requirements\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nMinimum Experience and Skill Requirements\nOne year experience in basic maintenance or trades, including use of common tools and equipment, or two years of vocational training.\nGeneral knowledge of skilled trades such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical or HVAC.\nMust be 18 years or older.\nMust be able to follow instructions and carry out task assigned.\nMust have both written and oral skills.\nKnowledge of safe working procedures.\nMust possess a valid driver’s license and meet the requirements to operate a university vehicle.\nPreferred Education and/or Experience Qualifications Posting Date 08/18/2026 Closing Date 09/01/2026 Open Until Filled No Special Instructions to Applicants Hourly Rate/Annual Salary $13.78 (Additional pay dependent upon qualifications) Staff Grade 101 Work Hours\nEight hours per day, five days per week; occasional overtime.\nEmergency call back after hours and on weekends.\nThis position will be required to work to provide critical services during University holidays, closures, and other emergencies, as needed. Critical services refer to the units that ensure the continuation of key operations and services that directly relate to the security, safety, and/or physical operation of the University (including services to students).
