Grounds Specialist - Lakewood Ranch, FL ~ Brea

Your RoleThe Grounds Specialist maintains the physical aspects of the property, which include the grounds, common areas and amenities. This position will also assist the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager by performing general maintenance and repairs for the assigned property and facilities.What You Will DoWalks the property throughout the day and removes litter, debris and pet droppings from all areas, including but not limited to, breezeways, pools, grounds, common areas, etcRemoves trash and recyclables within the office and maintains the trash areas per the agreed upon scheduleChecks and logs pool levels daily and vacuums pools weeklyCleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities by performing general labor duties Cleans and maintains grills inspecting timers and knobs to ensure safetyWhat You Will BringOne or more years of general labor job experience is preferred, multifamily experience is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent, preferredCertified Pool Operator (CPO) certified is preferredAbility to use a variety of hand tools, cleaning supplies and other equipment needed for the roleExcellent time management skillsEffective verbal and written communication skills via all communication channelsAbility to lift tools, equipment and other items in the unit (approximately 50 lbs)Work over 40 hours per week as business needs deem appropriateIND1What We OfferGreat benefits, including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision, behavioral health and more) on the first of the month following 30 days of employment401(k) Savings Plan (4% employer match; 100% vested immediately)Company paid life insurance (1x base salary)Paid Time Off package with a carryover provisionTraining and career development opportunitiesCompany Apparel Store allowanceWho We AreDavis Development is a privately owned luxury apartment developer and property management company with 25+ years in the industry and a best-in-class reputation.
