This is a great opportunity for seasoned EMTs interested in contract work.\nParamedic Duties/Responsibilities:\nProvide emergency medical assistance, such as CPR or bandaging a wound\nQuickly and efficiently assess a patient’s condition and determine the best course of treatment in collaboration with the paramedic on board.\nTransport patients safely in an ambulance\nProvide first aid or life support to patients who are sick or injured\nTransfer patients to the emergency area of the hospital or other healthcare facility\nReport what they saw and did to doctors, nurses or other healthcare staff\nDocument what kind of medical treatment was given to the patient from the moment of arriving at the scene to transferring the patient to the healthcare facility\nReplace, clean and buy inventory of supplies and equipment\nMaintaining vehicles, stations, and communication and medical equipment.\nDecontaminate the ambulance interior following the treatment of a patient with an infectious disease, and report the case to the proper authorities.\nJob Summary:\nTexas\n16-week assignment\nTwo weeks ON/ Two Weeks OFF\n12 Hour-Shifts\nAM and PM shifts available\nBase pay: $18/hr\nOT: $27/hr.\nBiweekly pay schedule\nYou will be assisting a private EMS company doing inter-facility transfers and responding to 911 calls\nCall volume: 6-10 calls per shift. IFTs and or 911 calls. Calls might average 1.5 - 2.5 hours\nQualifications:\nProven ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 lbs individually without restrictions, and manage 200–300 lbs safely with a partner.\nSkilled in bending, kneeling, and crawling on uneven terrain as required in emergency response environments.\nCapable of sitting, bending, and standing for extended periods while maintaining focus and readiness.\nAble to lift up to 50 lbs from ground to waist level repeatedly during routine and emergency operations.\nStrong ability to coordinate closely with team members and perform effectively in high-stress situations.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English.\nHighly adaptable, able to take direction and adjust to changing situations and job duties in dynamic field environments.\nExperienced with MICU-level transports, including IV pump management, ventilator operation, and cardiac monitoring.
