Powell requires a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent work related experience. A minimum of 3 or more years in similar construction is preferred. The applicant must be a team player, have strong organizational skills, solid work ethic and a desire to succeed. Construction Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager Responsibilities include but are not limited to:\nAssist with owner relations\nAssist in pricing contract change orders\nMaintain contract documents and as-built drawings\nMaintain change order files and pending items files\nPrepare progress payments\nPrepare and maintain project schedules - bar charts and CPM\nSchedule equipment check and rental rolls\nCoordinate subcontractors and material supplies - maintain files/submittal log\nInterpret and advise field personnel on plans and specifications\nSafety-indoctrinate, tour and hold meetings\nProject site checks for status of operations\nControl cost reports\nPrepare lift drawings and layouts\nDesign temporary structures/forms\nSalary will commensurate on experience and knowledge. Benefits offered include full medical plan (Employee portion of medical paid by Powell) dental, vision, Aflac and 401(k) with Powell matching up to 4% available.
