This position reports to the Caf Manager and serves as a liaison between clients, guests, culinary teams, dining leadership, and operational partners to ensure a consistently exceptional customer experience.\r\nThe Dining Coordinator is responsible for coordinating catering requests, assisting with event execution, supporting retail market operations, monitoring service standards, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all food and beverage presentations meet company expectations. Success in this role requires exceptional organization, attention to detail, proactive communication, and a passion for hospitality.\r\nKey ResponsibilitiesSupport the daily operations of the Market, ensuring products are fully stocked, properly merchandised, and available to meet customer demand.\r\nSupport the daily operations of the catering program, including event setup, service execution, and client support.\r\nMonitor food presentation, merchandising, cleanliness, and the overall appearance of the Market and catering areas.\r\nConduct routine quality assurance checks on food products, beverages, equipment, and service areas.\r\nAssist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and product rotation.\r\nEnsure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.\r\nRespond promptly and professionally to client and guest requests while delivering exceptional customer service.\r\nCollaborate with culinary, catering, and management teams to support menu development, promotions, and retail initiatives.\r\nReview Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and assist in coordinating catering events to ensure successful execution.\r\nAssist with sales reporting, inventory reconciliation, and operational tracking as assigned.\r\nPerform other duties as assigned.\r\nQualificationsAssociate degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Business, or a related field preferred.\r\nMinimum of 2 years of experience in food service, hospitality, catering, conference services, retail dining, or a related field.\r\nExperience coordinating meetings, events, or catering functions preferred.\r\nKnowledge of food service operations, hospitality standards, and customer service best practices.\r\nWorking knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and quality assurance principles.\r\nStrong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple catering events across several locations or floor levels.\r\nExperience supporting sit-down, plated, buffet, and reception-style events preferred.\r\nFamiliarity with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and event execution processes.\r\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\r\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.\r\nExperience with Toast POS, catering management software, or other hospitality technology platforms preferred.\r\nBasic wine knowledge and service experience preferred.\r\nServSafe Certification preferred.\r\nCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
