You'll be instrumental in defining it.\r\nYou'll work across Linux virtualisation and Windows internals, tackling areas such as:\r\nWindows guests on KVM/QEMU\r\nvirtio drivers and guest agents\r\nBoot and login performance\r\nSnapshot, restore and fork\r\nSysprep, golden images and image pipelines\r\nPowerShell and WinRM automation\r\nRemote display, file transfer and application-control APIs\r\nThey need someone who has worked inside a virtualisation or isolation layer not simply deployed workloads on top of one.\r\nKVM/QEMU, Cloud Hypervisor or Firecracker would be ideal, although deep experience with Hyper-V, VMware, Nutanix, Citrix or Windows infrastructure at a major cloud provider can translate.\r\nGo, Rust, C/C++ or systems-level C# can all work. What matters is your ability to debug across the hypervisor, Windows kernel, drivers and guest services, then turn those solutions into reliable production systems.\r\nThis is exceptionally niche, high-leverage engineering.
