Pit Supervisors must adhere to the Table Games Department policies and procedure. All functions are to be performed within the guidelines of the Downstream Casino Resort’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nShall be responsible for the accountability of the chips, cards, and all gaming equipment for each designated area by maintaining a proper log.\n\nShall evaluate and monitor the Table Games Dealers and Supervisors for efficiency while they are performing their daily job duties. The Pit Supervisor must ensure that all Pit Personnel are in compliance with Table Games Procedures and Internal Controls.\n\nShall specifically oversee the Table Games Supervisors/Dealers for Disciplinary actions, upward mobility recommendations and enforcement.\n\nShall monitor all Table fills/credit requests.\n\nShall monitor cash and chip transactions between dealers and patrons and ensure that they are always at the highest integrity.\n\nShall monitor all unusual activity between Pit Personnel and patrons for possible collusion and relay such information to the proper levels.\n\nShall communicate all suspicious play and activity of all patrons who are participating in defrauding SCR in a timely manner.\n\nShould assist the Security Department and Shift Manager in warning or ejecting persons from the Table Games who are causing a disturbance.\n\nShall attend all games protection education and other company directed training when it is deemed necessary by management.\n\nShall maintain accurate attendance records for all subordinates in an accurate and consistent manner.\n\nProvide exceptional customer service to all patrons and always communicate in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times, while maintaining a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.\n\nMeets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.\n\nAttend all necessary training and meetings. Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback to the Table Games Shift Manager.\n\nMust comply with all Title 31 requirements.\n\nAssist in other projects, as directed.\n\nDuties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Games are BJ, MB and all carnival games. Applicants must have the ability to become proficient in all games offered in the table games department within 90 days.\n\nCandidate should have previous supervisory experience in order to effectively motivate and direct the work of other personnel.\n\nMust possess very good oral and written communication skills.\n\nMust have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with all Guests and Employees.\n\nMust have strong communication skills when dealing with other departments as it pertains to the Table Games Department.\n\nMust have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner according to SCR standards.\n\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.\n\nMust be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
