We strive to make a positive impact on the world around us.\n\nPosition Summary:\nThe Project Engineer – CNG/RNG Fueling Systems is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of compressed natural gas (CNG) and renewable natural gas (RNG) fueling station systems. This role supports the full project lifecycle from concept and detailed engineering through installation, commissioning, and ongoing technical support. The position requires strong mechanical engineering fundamentals, industry code compliance, and hands‑on collaboration with cross‑functional teams.\n\nProject Engineer – CNG/RNG Fueling Systems Essential Functions:\n\nDesign mechanical systems for CNG and RNG fueling stations, including compression, storage, dispensing, and auxiliary equipment.\n\nDevelop and review P&IDs, general arrangement drawings, and mechanical layouts.\n\nPerform equipment sizing, pressure drop calculations, and material selection.\n\nEnsure designs comply with applicable codes and standards (e.g., NFPA 52, ASME, API, ULs, CSA, local AHJ requirements).\n\nCollaborate with electrical, controls, manufacturing, and installation teams to deliver integrated solutions.\n\nSupport hazard analyses, design reviews, and functional safety evaluations.\n\nProvide technical support during fabrication, installation, startup, and commissioning.\n\nInterface with suppliers and customers to clarify technical requirements.\n\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.\n\nOther Duties:\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
