{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"6cc1facd9686248907ab80af","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/6cc1facd9686248907ab80af","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/6cc1facd9686248907ab80af","title":"Machine Operator - 2nd Shift","description":"Description:\nJob Title: Machine Operator\n2nd Shift\nHours: 2:45pm-11:15pm\nOvertime required based on production need.\n$18.50/hour\nTends machine that performs one or more packaging functions such as filling, marking, and/or labeling by performing the following duties:\nOther duties may be assigned.\nStarts machine and observes operation to ensure machine is operating properly.\nStops machine and reports malfunction to supervisor.\nMakes minor adjustments or repairs such as opening valves, changing cutting dies, setting guides, clearing away damaged product containers, and setting machine zeros.\nInspects filled packs to ensure that product is packaged according to specifications.\nDemonstrates good time management in choosing the best time to send your line to break when the lead is unavailable.\nFeeds product to conveyors.\nMounts supplies such as film on spindles.\nTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:\nWritten Communication - Writes clearly and informatively; Able to read and interpret written information.\nOral Communication – Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification.\nOrganizational Support - Follows policies and procedures.\nQuantity - Meets productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner; Strives to increase productivity.\nSafety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.\nAdaptability - Adapts to changes in the work environment; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.\nAttendance/Punctuality - Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance.\nDependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.\nInitiative - Asks for and offers help when needed.\nRequirements:\nQualifications\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
