Enterprise IT Project Manager

MANTECH seeks a high velocity and results-driven Enterprise IT Project Manager to support enterprise-wide IT transformation initiatives in Herndon, VA. This is a hybrid position with on-site presence on an as-needed basis.This role is ideal for a strategic leader who thrives in dynamic environments and brings deep technical insight across modern technology domains including SaaS, AI, and enterprise IT optimization. You will drive measurable outcomes by managing a portfolio of complex projects that modernize and strengthen enterprise capabilities.Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToLeading and managing a portfolio of 5–7 concurrent enterprise IT transformation projects from initiation through closeoutDriving modernization initiatives across SaaS platforms, AI-enabled solutions, and enterprise optimization effortsDeveloping and maintaining integrated project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and performance metricsCoordinating cross-functional technical teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership to ensure alignment with strategic objectivesIdentifying, assessing, and mitigating risks and dependencies across multiple workstreamEnsuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high quality standardsProviding regular executive-level reporting and portfolio health updatesChampioning continuous improvement, governance best practices, and standardized project management methodologiesMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related field8+ years of experience managing enterprise IT projects, including large-scale transformation initiativesDemonstrated experience managing a portfolio of multiple concurrent projectsStrong technical breadth across SaaS platforms, AI technologies, cloud environments, and enterprise IT systemsProven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and drive cross-functional alignmentProject Management Professional (PMP) certificationPreferred QualificationsExperience leading enterprise-wide digital transformation programsFamiliarity with Agile, SAFe, or hybrid project delivery methodologiesExperience implementing AI-driven automation or enterprise optimization initiativesStrong financial management and portfolio reporting expertiseExceptional communication skills with the ability to brief senior executivesPhysical RequirementsMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50%Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
