As the Quality Manager you will have excellent leadership (Lead, manage & keep people accountable) and decision-making skills. You are responsible for the quality management system (ISO 9001:2015, AS9100) compliance. You will manage all company-wide, quality policies, procedures, processes, programs, and practices, to assure the company of continuous conformance with appropriate standards and regulations, understand and manage document control, quality auditing, and continuous improvement efforts.\r\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Dedication to and action on Prince Industries Core Values.\r\nEnsuring all safety procedures are followed.\r\nPromoting quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization.\r\nActing as a key contact with customers' auditors and being responsible for ensuring the execution of corrective actions and ongoing compliance with customers' specifications.\r\nProviding frequent quality reports on the state of the Quality (internal/external).\r\nAct as the voice of the customer within the organization with regards to quality concern and product performance.\r\nBuild strong relationships with key customers and ensure timely resolution of customer complaints and quality issues.\r\nMaintaining a constant awareness of the business context and company profitability.\r\nEnsuring compliance with national and international standards.\r\nBringing together staff of different disciplines and driving the group to formulate and agree on comprehensive quality procedures.\r\nSupervising technical staff in carrying out all necessary inspection activities, document creation, quality engineering, metrological process design and calibration.\r\nEnsuring procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated.\r\nWriting technical and management system reports as required.\r\nSupports the internal auditing system and procedures.\r\nPinpointing relevant quality-related training needs.\r\nWorking closely with purchasing staff to establish supplier quality performance criteria and monitor and report supplier performance.\r\nAssessing suppliers' product specifications and quality plans.\r\nBeing a liaison to other managers and staff, particularly in areas such as design, production and purchasing, tying in and providing clarity within the quality system.\r\nUtilize business system tools and analytics to ensure adequate resources are in place to meet growth/capacity requirements.\r\nREQUIRED SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES Excellent verbal and written communication skills.\r\nSolid Knowledge of GD&T.\r\nCMM programming/operating experience.\r\nWorking knowledge of machine shop metrology\r\nMust be excellent at reading drawings/blueprints.\r\nExperience in all required quality engineering phases.\r\nMust have experience leading teams in PPAP, APQP and FMEA.\r\nEpicor knowledge.\r\n6 Sigma green belt or black belt a plus.\r\nAS9100, NADCAP knowledge and understanding.\r\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 4-year BS in Mechanical Engineering or related degree with relevant experience.\r\n5-10 years' experience in a quality function/role.\r\n3+ years' experience managing a quality organization.\r\nExperience with a manufacturing organization, specifically precision metal machining.\r\nExperience implementing/maintaining AS9100, NADCAP quality system or equivalent.\r\nExperience in a related manufacturing work environment.\r\nExperience leading a staff of 6 or more.\r\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand, walk, and use hands for extended periods.\r\nExposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and moderate noise levels.\r\nMust be able to communicate clearly and accurately in noisy environments.\r\nMust be able to read, write, and speak English.\r\nBENEFITS Blue Cross Blue Shield Medical insurance (PPO and HDHP with HSA) w/ Prescription Coverage\r\nVision PPO Insurance\r\nShort-Term & Long-Term Disability Insurance\r\nCompany Paid Life Insurance and AD & D – Including options to add on additional life insurance for yourself, spouse & children.\r\nCritical Illness Insurance\r\n401(k) Fidelity Plan with strong employer match\r\nPersonal Retirement Advisor\r\nGenerous PTO Policy and 9 Paid Holidays per year\r\n100% Tuition Reimbursement for Job-Related Classes\r\nPersonal Protective Equipment reimbursement (safety glasses, shoes, etc.)\r\nUniform Rental Service\r\nEmployee Events\r\nCOMPENSATION: $110,000 - $120,000 annually (final compensation will be determined based on experience).\r\nDue to ITAR regulations, only U.S. persons—defined as U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders), and U.S. nationals—are eligible for this position.\r\n*We are an Equal Employment Opportunity (\"EEO\") Employer.
