The ideal candidate will be quick, efficient, and attentive to the needs of the team and guests, upholding Ugly Dumpling’s standards of service and hospitality.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nPrimary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:\nClear and reset tables promptly to maintain a tidy and organized dining area.\nClean surfaces, chairs, and floors around tables after guests leave to prepare for the next seating.\nAssist with filling water glasses and refilling guest beverages as needed.\nDeliver food orders from the kitchen to the correct tables accurately and in a timely manner.\nConfirm with servers and kitchen staff that each dish meets presentation and quality standards before delivery.\nAssist in explaining dishes to guests as needed, maintaining knowledge of the menu and dish contents.\nAcknowledge and greet guests with a warm, friendly demeanor.\nRespond to guest requests or refer them to servers or management when needed.\nProactively address any guest needs within your capacity to ensure a positive dining experience.\nMaintain cleanliness in the dining room, including sanitizing tables, chairs, and floors, and emptying trash as needed.\nAdhere to health and safety regulations, supporting hygiene and food safety practices in all duties.\nAssist with opening and closing duties, including stocking supplies, setting up dining areas, and completing end-of-shift tasks.\nWork closely with servers, kitchen staff, and other team members to support the smooth flow of service.\nCommunicate efficiently with team members to ensure accurate and timely food delivery.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nEssential Functions\nPrior experience as a busser, food runner, or in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
