You will be constantly optimizing systems and services for security, automation, and performance/availability, while ensuring solutions developed adhere and align to architecture standards.\n\nSupport transitioning a system that is tightly coupled to the underlying infrastructure\nAssist with architecture, design, development, integration, and support of build, integration & test, and deployment pipelines, optimizing for performance and scalability across on-premises cloud computing environments\nLeverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to improve scalability, consistency, infrastructure efficiency, reduce deployment time, and automate configuration management\nCollaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and DevOps teams to design and implement development and mission solutions\nIntegrate security and compliance into the platform with services such as encryption and access management\nProvide operational support for the platform\nAdministrative fluency with the following (or vendor equivalent): Red Hat Linux (v7+, 8+ preferred), Rancher\nExperience troubleshooting applications & infrastructure services on Linux based OS\n\nRequired Skills:\n5 years of experience directly related to Linux System Administration and DevOps, including installation and maintenance of software and hardware.\nExperience administering Red Hat Linux based systems with minimal support, to include kickstart, patching (satellite servers), creating RPM packages, performance tuning, networking, user management, and security.\nExtensive experience with scripting, particularly in Bash and/or Python\nExperienced using automation tools/frameworks such as Ansible, Chef, and Puppet.\nExperience with recent versions of VMware (ESXi and vCenter) and/or AWS\n\nHands-on experience working with developer tools including Git, Arifactory, Bitbucket, CI/CD tools, and Jira\nExperience with Rancher\n\nNAS and SAN administration experience\nExperience using Agile/Scrum development methodology (SAFe, Scrum, Khanban)\nMust be able to lift up to 35 pounds in support of hardware installations.\nStrong analytic and research skills - must be detail oriented\n\nMust be able to support occasional after hour maintenance\nRequired to provide rotational pager (on-call) support\nMust be a US Citizen with a current TS-SCI clearance with CI poly\nMust have an active CompTIA Security+ or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification\n\nDesired Skills:\nExperience developing, testing & delivering applications w/in a DevSecOps framework\nExperience with programming/scripting languages (E.g.
