Case Manager for SUD Treatment Program
Looking for an experienced case manager and case coordinator for a Women’s and Parent Focused Specialty Substance Use Treatment Program! Someone who would like to supervisor a peer advocate and a case manager while still providing limited case management services. Are you ready to begin your career as a supervisor? As a Women’s Specialty Case Manager at Family Service & Children’s Aid, you will provide behavioral health services that help clients to attain and/or maintain recovery from substance use and along with assisting them with improving their overall well-being by connecting with resources to meet their immediate needs in the areas of physical health, housing, transportation, education, employment, and issues that are specific barriers to parents in recovery.
This position will assist with screening potential clients for services, facilitating educational groups, advocating for clients involved in probation and/or DHHS systems, and providing individual support. FSCA is sought after for SUD treatment due to our trauma informed approach and being the only Women’s and Parent Focused Specialty provider in our county. Women’s and Parent Focused Specialty services means we provide gender competent and parent focused treatment, assist with removing barriers that are specific to parents in recovery, and our target population are those parents at risk of losing custody of their children or are attempting to regain custody of their children.
In addition to case management services, start your journey as a supervisor, overseeing the Women’s Specialty team including a peer advocate and case manager. Start out a supervisor role with an incredible team that is very dedicated to this population and program. Receive internal supervisor training along with accessing training offered by our funders. Qualifications for position are as follows:
Bachelor’s in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Human Service, Psychology, or related field
Degree in non-related field will be considered if possess 2 years’ experience as case manager
Experience as case manager or working in human service field
Willingness to obtain CADC from MCBAP (substance use treatment certification)
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
