The people who join Impact now will help define what comes next.\n\nJob Overview\n\nThe Sales Development Representative is responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective clients to generate pipeline for the sales organization. This role focuses on outbound and inbound prospecting, initiating executive-level conversations, and positioning Impact’s technology and managed services solutions to address business challenges. The ideal candidate is consultative, metric-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced sales environment. This position partners closely with Account Executives to drive revenue growth and market expansion.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nProspect and qualify new business opportunities through outbound calling, email, and sales engagement platforms\n\nInitiate and secure meetings with VP- and C-level decision makers while advancing Director-level conversations to executive stakeholders\n\nGenerate a consistent volume of completed and qualified sales meetings to support monthly pipeline targets\n\nConduct discovery conversations to uncover business challenges and align Impact solutions to prospect needs\n\nCollaborate with assigned Account Executives to ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities\n\nMaintain accurate and timely activity, notes, and follow-ups within the CRM system\n\nLeverage intent data, sales intelligence, and sequencing tools to drive targeted outreach\n\nBuild and nurture professional relationships through consistent, value-driven follow-up communication\n\nQualifications & Experience\n\nExperience in sales development, business development, or outbound lead generation\n\nProven experience with outbound cold calling and high-volume prospecting activity\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage executive audiences\n\nExperience using CRM systems and sales engagement platforms such as Salesforce, SalesLoft, Outreach, or similar tools\n\nAbility to understand and articulate business challenges across multiple industries\n\nFamiliarity with IT services, cybersecurity, digital transformation, or technology solutions preferred\n\nSelf-motivated, results-oriented professional with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment\n\nExperience leveraging intent data or sales intelligence platforms for targeted outreach is a plus\n\nWhat Drives Impact\n\nBehaviors define what our core values look like in action.
