NS2 Mission is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the team in Chantilly, VA. In this role, you'll help build and maintain secure DevOps environments that enable software teams to develop, test, and deploy mission-critical applications efficiently. Working across on-premises infrastructure and AWS cloud environments, you'll leverage modern DevOps tools, containerization technologies, and automation to improve software delivery and operational performance.\nIf you're passionate about automation, cloud technologies, and building reliable development environments, we'd love to hear from you.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, implement, and maintain secure DevOps environments supporting mission applications.\nDevelop and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline software development and deployment.\nSupport containerized applications and modern container management practices.\nAutomate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.\nMaintain development environments across on-premises infrastructure and AWS cloud services.\nCollaborate with software engineers, platform engineers, and system administrators to improve development workflows and operational efficiency.\nTroubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and integration issues while promoting DevSecOps best practices.\nContinuously evaluate and implement automation solutions to improve reliability, scalability, and performance.\nRequired Qualifications\nExperience supporting DevOps environments and software delivery pipelines.\nExperience with CI/CD tools and deployment automation.\nFamiliarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.\nExperience working within AWS cloud environments.\nExperience supporting Linux-based systems and development environments.\nStrong scripting and automation skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.\nExperience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet.\nFamiliarity with DevSecOps methodologies and security automation.\nExperience supporting secure government or classified environments.\nPosition Clearance Requirement:\nTS/SCI with an FSP\nPlease be aware, many of our positions require the ability to obtain or maintain a U.S security clearance which requires U.S citizenship\nWe win with inclusion\nNS2 Mission’s culture of inclusion, focus on health and well-being, and flexible working models help ensure that everyone – regardless of background – feels included and can run at their best.
