Our group’s mission is to provide an advanced timing sign-off flow to Broadcom’s chip teams with the goal of achieving best in class solutions with high yield and fully optimized margins. The candidate will participate in flow development, data analysis, and statistical modeling. This includes the development of new features, further enhancements and automation, and support for the existing flows and functions. The candidate should have experience with digital design flow, EDA tools such as Primetime, Tempus, Innovus, Redhawk. The candidate will be working closely with other experts across the company in a fast paced project oriented agile environment.\n\nThe candidate must have the ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, proactively deliver practical and quality solutions on-time, work well with external and internal partners, and possess advanced IC design engineering skills. The candidate will be expected to work across multiple facets of projects and juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nDesign, implement, and deploy solutions using Python, Perl, TCL, and Unix shell.\n\nParticipate in EDA flow development for Primetime, Tempus, Innovus and RedHawk.\n\nDevelop automations for statistical data analysis, data science, and statistics.\n\nQualifications:\nThe minimum engineering experience required is typically a BS degree in EE/CS with 8+ years of industry experience, or an MS degree or Ph.D. degree in EE/CS with 6+ years of industry experience.\n\nStrong hands‑on experience with industry standard SSTA tools such as Primetime and Tempus.\n\nStrong hands‑on experience with industry standard Place & Route tools such as Innovus.\n\nStrong hands‑on experience with industry standard IR analysis tools such as Redhawk.\n\nStrong hands‑on experience developing scripts in TCL, Python, Perl, Unix shell and flow automation.\n\nStrong hands‑on experience with statistical data analysis and modeling.\n\nExperience with revision control, issue management/defect tracking, continuous integration, and continuous delivery/deployment tools.\n\nStrong analytical skills and extremely detail oriented, organized and methodical.\n\nStrong communication skills.
